Netflix’s first original series “Lilyhammer” debuts on its streaming network in Canada, United States and Latin America on February 7. Subscribers can view the entire first season, all eight episodes, in standard or high definition format. This is the first of a string of original programming that Netflix is working on in an effort to create an exclusive online only network. Netflix reportedly has 20 million streaming subscribers that pay about $7.99 per month to have unlimited access to watch movies and TV shows over the internet. Among the devices that enable access to the network are: Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the Sony PS3 consoles; a number of Blu-ray disc players; internet connected TV’s; as well as number of media players, such as Western Digital’s TV Live Media Player, Google TV and Apple TV.
