For those of you looking forward to getting the 64 GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S III you will have to wait a bit longer. It has recently been reported by The Verge that the heftier S III will be coming “during the second half of this year”. They went on to report that this particular model’s availability was only announced internationally so it may not come to either the US or Canada anytime soon. It is interesting how Samsung’s launch of its products differs somewhat from that of Apple’s. Samsung first released International versions, in lower capacities and then slowly rolled out its release to the US and Canada with specific versions that could function on those LTE networks. Apple, on the other hand, releases more or less the same model throughout the world in all configurations at the same time. This difference may be due to the strength of the supply chain that Apple has put into place and it’s more conservative nature when it comes to introducing new technology compared to Samsung.
