Just an update to let you know that the software that allows you to process the proprietary file format of the Lytro light-field camera is now available for Windows. Previously only Mac users were able to process the photographs. With the software, users can shift focus after the image is taken. Requirements for Windows users are not trivial, as Windows 7 is required with at least a Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM and Direct X 10 installed. The software is available as a hardcopy and as a bonus shipping is free this week.
