Android 4.0 (ICS) ported to Raspberry Pi

According to a recent post on the Raspberry Pi’s blog, Android 4.0 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich) has been ported to the $25 micro computer.  Apparently hardware accelerated video and graphics are supported but it is not able to play audio due to a porting problem with ICS’s Audio Flinger.  This is the first time that the mobile OS has been made to run on the pint sized computer, giving users an alternative to various versions of Linux currently available for Raspberry Pi.
