Update for Mountain Lion now available

Amid all of the excitement of a new mobile OS, the fact that Mountain Lion also got an update got nearly overlooked.  The update for the computer’s operating system, 10.8.2, was made available just shortly after iOS 6 was released on September 19.  The update makes features on Mountain Lion match those on iOS, namely Facebook integration within Notification Center, Game Center and Contacts.  It is reported that this new version restores battery life to pre-Mountain Lion levels.  In addition, Dictation now adds support for Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Korean, Canadian English (this should be interesting), Canadian French and Italian.
